About BluEarth RV02
The Yokohama BluEarth RV-02 is a premium MPV and SUV touring tyre designed to deliver outstanding comfort, stable handling, and excellent wet-weather performance for larger family vehicles. Part of Yokohama’s eco-focused BluEarth range, the RV-02 combines advanced construction with low rolling-resistance technology to meet the unique needs of heavier vehicles while enhancing efficiency and safety.
A standout feature of the RV-02 is its advanced BluEarth low-rolling-resistance compound, engineered to reduce energy loss and improve fuel efficiency. This not only helps reduce fuel consumption but also lowers CO₂ emissions, making the tyre an environmentally conscious choice for families and long-distance travellers.
The tyre features a refined tread pattern, optimised to enhance high-speed stability, boost steering precision, and ensure even tread wear. Reinforced tread blocks improve lateral grip, providing secure cornering and confident control, even when carrying multiple passengers or heavy cargo.
Wet-weather safety is one of the greatest strengths of the BluEarth RV-02. Equipped with deep circumferential grooves and wide lateral channels, the tyre efficiently expels water from the contact patch, dramatically reducing the risk of hydroplaning. Its silica-rich compound enhances wet braking performance, ensuring consistent traction and shorter stopping distances during rain.
Comfort has been carefully engineered into the RV-02. Yokohama integrates noise-reduction technology, including optimised tread block positioning, to minimise road noise and vibrations. This results in a noticeably quieter and smoother ride—ideal for MPVs and SUVs often used for family transport and long-distance trips.
Durability is enhanced through a strengthened internal structure designed to support the heavier loads of multi-passenger vehicles. This construction improves tread life, promotes even wear, and maintains stability at highway speeds, offering excellent long-term value for drivers.
Combining superior comfort, fuel efficiency, and confident wet and dry traction, the Yokohama BluEarth RV-02 is a top choice for MPV and SUV owners seeking a safe, quiet, and reliable all-season tyre that elevates every journey.
