About Avid GT S35
The Yokohama Avid GT S35 is a premium all-season touring tyre designed to offer drivers exceptional comfort, stable handling, and reliable year-round traction. Built with Yokohama’s trusted engineering and attention to detail, the Avid GT S35 is an excellent choice for sedans, passenger cars, and family vehicles requiring a refined, consistent, and safe driving experience. Fitted to the Toyota Rav4 as an OEM tyre (235/55R19 101V).
At the heart of the Avid GT S35 is its advanced all-season tread compound, formulated to deliver dependable grip in wet, dry, and mildly cold conditions. This specialised rubber blend enhances braking performance, promotes consistent traction, and supports longer tread life, making it ideal for daily commuting and long-distance driving.
The tyre features a carefully optimised tread design, engineered to improve handling stability and promote even tread wear. Its interconnected tread blocks and continuous centre rib provide enhanced steering response and straight-line control, ensuring confidence on highways and urban roads alike. The rigid outer shoulders increase cornering stability, offering predictable and secure handling during everyday manoeuvres.
Wet-weather performance is a standout benefit of the Avid GT S35. Wide circumferential grooves and angled lateral channels work together to efficiently disperse water, reducing hydroplaning risk and improving traction on rain-soaked roads. This ensures safer braking and more controlled handling during unpredictable weather.
Ride comfort is also a major focus of the tyre. Yokohama’s noise-reducing tread block arrangement minimises road noise and vibrations, creating a smoother and quieter driving experience—ideal for families and daily commuters. Additionally, the tyre’s reinforced casing enhances stability at higher speeds while supporting consistent, long-lasting performance.
Durable and dependable, the Yokohama Avid GT S35 provides excellent value for drivers who prioritise safety, comfort, and reliability in all seasons. Whether used for city driving, weekend trips, or long motorway journeys, it delivers the balanced performance expected from Yokohama’s high-quality touring tyre range.
